Kate & Maddie Clogging

Kate and Maddie both had a clogging competition in Boise a few weeks ago.  A competition that ended at midnight!  I'm too old for this!  They both did amazing though!  Kate is now competing at the advanced level, and along with her team dance, did all five solos, freestyle, and accapella.  She won a medal for "Super Star" which means she had among the highest scores:)  This weekend, she will compete again in Pocatello!  Oh, and I forgot to mention, she broke her wrist...again!...but this time it is the other one!  She fell while she was snowboarding...but luckily it is a hairline fracture and she only needs to wear her brace for one more week (she broke it three weeks ago).  Other exciting news about Kate is that she was asked to be on a select basketball team and she is loving it!  She has mostly been playing with her left hand, but she has finally come around and decided that basketball is FUN!!!

Maddie also competed at the Beginning level and did awesome!  She always has a big smile on her face and is a fun performer to watch:)  She also won a great medal and her team received first place!
