Another week closer to the much anticipated Christmas has passed and we are even more excited. Attempting to recall highlights of this week...not having much luck.
Friday night was our business Christmas Party. We ate at a small restaurant in Weiser which was actually quite good and of course fun. Then it was off to the Chudleigh home for desert and games. The deserts are always awesome (just ignoring the calorie count:) and so are the games. The best game is the gift exchange which Pam (Dan's wife) always puts much effort into getting just the right gifts...the battle for the perfect gift is always fun:) Sarah and I ended up with a Costco gift card and a gift card to Olive Garden:) We are very fortunate to have such excellent employees and have been greatly blessed over our 6 year existence.
Saturday was a fun day as well. It was Jake's special day and so he chose the usual Wii activity. At 9:00 a.m. Maddie, Jake and I went to help out with a service project raking leaves for a non member couple in our ward. Then it was Jake, the scouter, off to the winter parade to collect money for some charity. At 4:00 we headed into Boise for some quick shopping (imagine that:) before we went to our first Boise State Basketball game. Jake's basketball team all got tickets to the game and so our whole family tagged along. It was a lot of fun...we were only 3-5 rows up from the court...pretty cool...just doesn't compare to BYU though. It did end up being a rather late night but everyone managed to do just fine today:)
That about does it for this week...we love you
