Yes it is back to school:) Where did the summer go? The kids have been very excited this week as a new year is beginning. Jake and Kate now are both in the middle school (grades 6 and 5) and Maddie is now in the 2nd grade...Brooke still is waiting for preschool to start (for the 3rd year:). We are attempting to get back into the school schedule which I think is harder for me than for the kids:)
Not to be left out of all the excitement little Brooke decided to ride her bike without her training wheels this week. I had helped her with 3 previous attempts that ended with tears but Thursday she just decided to ride her bike and when I got home from work she was riding like a champ...no help:)
This weekend we have had a special treat as Pyper, Talon, Trevor and Abby Dow came to visit. They are a lot of fun to have around and we had a great time with them. Trevor and Talon even went to the big Red Neck Rodeo we put on for the youth of our stake (try feeding and entertaining 300 kids:). We spent time Saturday at Christensons pond with them having a splash. We love having family come (hint...hint).
